Here at Audi Lakeland, we love serving the automotive needs of the Lakeland, FL, community and beyond. But along with selling new Audi models and quality pre-owned vehicles and offering exceptional service, our dealership seeks to serve our community in other ways as well. From pet adoption events to hurricane relief efforts, community involvement has always been important to us. Learn more about some of the most recent events we've hosted below.
Pet-Fest Adoption Event
Audi Lakeland was so honored to hold the Pet-Fest Adoption Event at our dealership on April 16, 2022. We were excited to have over 75 attendees, and our team was thrilled to meet and interact with each and every one of them. Partnering with local animal shelters and businesses, we were able to put on an incredible event for the community. We had delicious food and many got the chance to test-drive an Audi model of their own!
The best part was that seven of our furry friends were adopted! Not only were we happy to waive all adoption fees for these animals, we were even happier that they found incredible homes. With the attending organizations and their incredible efforts in our amazing community, Audi Lakeland donated $1,500 to TLC Petsnip, $750 to Bell’s Promise Rescue and $750 to Saving Paws Rescue. We’re thankful to the community for showing up and showing out for a great cause.
Got Your BACK Backpack Drive
For the whole month of July 2022, Audi Lakeland was honored and excited to host the first annual Audi Lakeland Got Your BACK Backpack Drive. As a month-long community support promotion, our dealership donated a full bag of school supplies to a student in need for every car that was purchased from July 6 to August 6. As a dealership that fully supports our community and the schools that represent it, we’re inherently dedicated to making sure the children are well equipped with the tools necessary for a successful educational experience. Customers and team members alike wrote motivational letters to students, which were then placed into the backpacks that were given to the students. Not only did our dealership donate backpacks, but for every car purchased, Audi Lakeland also donated $20 to the Dream Center of Lakeland. By the end of the month, we were honored and privileged to announce that over $1,500 and over 100 backpacks were donated!
Once the month was up, our team at Audi Lakeland hand delivered the backpacks to the students at the Dream Center of Lakeland’s Back to School Bash. The look on their faces and the joy it brought could not have been any better. We hope that those students will have a tremendous learning experience this school year and that it will inspire them to achieve great things.
Hurricane Relief Efforts
At Audi Lakeland, we care passionately about our customers as if they are our own family. So naturally, when our great state of Florida was impacted by the devastating effects of Hurricane Ian, we wanted to find a way to help with relief efforts. It is through difficult times like these that we realize what is most important to us — family and community. With the Qvale Auto Group's long and successful history in the Tampa Bay area and as a home to hundreds of employees and their families, we want to stand with you, our community! That is why we decided to make a significant contribution to the American Red Cross and its Hurricane Ian Relief Fund.
Our Alfa Romeo Maserati of St. Petersburg dealership hosted a Grand Re-Opening and Hurricane Relief Event on October 8, 2022, to show support for the community. It was an emotional experience as friends, family and customers witnessed firsthand the Qvale Auto Group's first of many donations to the American Red Cross. During the course of the Hurricane Relief Effort campaign, the Qvale Auto Group ran a promotion and donated a portion of the sales to the American Red Cross’ Hurricane Ian Relief Fund. The campaign ran from October 8, 2022, to November 12, 2022. $100 was donated for every car sold.
Because of the amazing outpouring of help from our community towards the relief efforts, the group's executive manager of operations, Geno Walsh, along with Conner Qvale (CEO Bruce Qvale’s son), presented a check for $50,000 to be put towards the Red Cross’ Hurricane Relief efforts. It was an event to remember, and we thank you for your participation.
Cars & Coffee Event
We hosted our first Cars & Coffee event on Saturday, March 4, 2023. This free event was open to the public, and our guests enjoyed a live DJ, food and beverages, giveaways and more. This was a great opportunity to connect with our neighbors and other automotive enthusiasts. We look forward to hosting many more!
